Many of the village residents gathered at the 388th Bomb Group Memorial to remember those USAF personnel who sacrificed their lives in WW2. We shall for ever be grateful to them.
Afterwards everyone assembled at the newly refurbished village war memorial where we remembered those who gave their lives in WW1 and in particular those whose names are inscribed on the memorial. The two minutes silence was followed by refreshments in the village hall where there were many items on display from WW1. May thanks to all who contributed to make this day one to truly remember.
